                    TITLE:
A Resolution of the Board of Trustees for the Town of Palisade, Colorado, Authorizing the Town Administrator to Submit a Concept Paper for a Future Construction Grant Request to Great Outdoors Colorado for the Palisade Plunge.

RESOLUTION TEXT:

WHEREAS, the Palisade Plunge was nominated by the Grand Valley community and received recognition as one of the 16 most important trails in Colorado; and

WHEREAS, this mountain bike trail has tremendous potential for a positive economic development impact to the Grand Valley; and

WHEREAS, and the Town was awarded a GOCO Planning Grant to facilitate the NEPA/EA studies and necessary planning documents; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Palisade has taken a leadership role in the establishment of the Palisade Plunge; and

WHEREAS, Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) has established grant sources for the 16 in ’16 projects.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF PALISADE, COLORADO, AUTHORIZES THE TOWN ADMINISTRATOR TO SUBMIT THE CONCEPT PAPER APPLICATION TO GREAT OUTDOORS FOR THE PALISADE PLUNGE
