Summary

                    A Resolution of the Board of Trustees for the Town of Palisade, Colorado, Approving the Town
Administrator to Sign an Intergovernmental Agreement as Ratified by the Board of Trustees with the City
of Grand Junction for the Provision of Lifeguards, Guest Service Representatives, Swim Instructors and
Pool Managers for the Palisade Swimming Pool during the 2017 Season for a fee of $81,670.00.

Staff once again recommends entering into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the City
of Grand Junction for the provision of lifeguards, guest service representatives, swim instructors
and pool managers for the operation of the Palisade Pool at Peach Bowl Park. The level of care
and service that the City has provided has been outstanding. Their staff is knowledgeable and
skilled and has developed an outstanding reputation with the patrons of the pool. Town staff and
the City have collaborated to contain costs and the agreement maintains the price of their
services at the 2016 level of $81,670.
