The owner of the building at 101 W. Third has submitted an application to the Town to establish a drive-up window for coffee sales at the rear of the building. Because the drive-up window is along the north edge of a public alleyway, traffic in the alley would need to be limited to a single direction from west to east to accommodate the drive-up window. Staff has notified property owners within 300 feet of the property (101 W. Third) of the proposal to restrict the alley to single west to east direction. On Thursday January 4, the owner contacted staff to request the hearing be postponed to the January 23 Board meeting due to his inability to attend the January 9 hearing. Staff is recommending the Board grant the postponement in order to allow the owner to make his presentation to the Board.
