Summary

                    Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:

Section 1. (a) Any sports gambling authorized by the Kansas lottery in accordance with this act shall be conducted solely on the premises of a racetrack gaming facility and shall be managed and operated by one or more racetrack gaming facility managers.

(b) For purposes of this section, the term "sports gambling" means a lottery, sweepstakes or other betting, gambling or wagering scheme based, directly or indirectly, on one or more competitive games in which amateur or professional athletes participate, or are intended to participate, or on one or more performances of such athletes in such games.

                    (c) The provisions of this section shall be a part of and supplemental to the Kansas expanded lottery act.

Sec. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the statute book.
